I haven't posted anything in a bit and my backlog of adorable Mika pics is growing! *laughs* Thought I'd share a couple rare, upclose pics. (Rare because to get it, I can't use the flash. But without the flash, she shows up motion-blurred because she never sits still! And with the flash, she closes her eyes - everytime!)

It's good to get out on the balcony every now and again. It's even better when I can look out unobstructed. Good thing I'm such a big girl.

The day after xmas, Mika was enjoying herself by prowling under the tree and poking her head in all the presents. She just kept going back and really getting into sniffing them.

Mika likes laps as many kitties do, but, she's discovered a place she likes even more - the crook of my legs! This is me laying on the couch, watching tv with her snuggled up behind my legs. It's so adorable because she lays her head down on my leg and snuggles in. And, unlike when she hops up on my lap and laves in two minutes, she'll sleep for a half-an-hour curled up behind my legs. (which is great until I get a crick and need to move! *giggles*)
Anyway, thought it was cute and wanted to share

Mika has a facination with the bathroom sink. She simply LOVES the water coming out of the faucet. She always reaches her paw out to it and swats at it. Only, ew, it's water and she hurridly shakes her paw to remove the offending liquid.
"But hey, look at the stuff falling in the sink...looks so nice I think I'll swat it...Ew! Water!" (repeat for several minutes)

Mika's First Bath Adventure
(Well, technically, since she's like three and a half, I assume she's had one before, but in the almost six months I've had her, she hasn't. So...this was the first with me.)
As the tabby slept, little did she know...
... this was going on in the next room.
